We believe that children at ages 1-2 need to be provided the opportunities to use all modes of play to explore their class and the world around them. The goal for our Explorers is to let them see the importance of doing things on their own, shared play, and respecting their friends as well as introducing them to some age appropriate stories & songs that they will grab examples of good moral character. During the circle time events, your child will develop the understanding of colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. He/she will also have opportunities for conversational play, becoming more comfortable with their surroundings and build up his/her vocabulary. Daily activities that promote use of their hands develop their motor skills. With the help of outside play at the playground along with some stretching tasks, our kids grow as healthy individuals. Your Explorer will enjoy these games and activities all day while learning, playing and growing.
